On December 14, 2024, African Solidarity for Haiti (SAHA) had the honor of participating in the Forum on Women's Inclusion and Empowerment, organized by Femmes Indépendants Éduquées Féministes (FIEF) and supported by the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH). This key actors engaged in the promotion of women's rights in Hait.

At SAHA, we strongly believe that women's empowerment requires education, training, and access to economic opportunities. This forum was a valuable opportunity to share our experiences, learn from other organizations and strengthen our efforts on behalf of Haitian girls and women.

We were particularly impressed by the diversity of the diversity of the topics addressed: Women's capacity building through education and training, economic empowerment by entrepreneurship and innovation, women's leadership and the place of pomen in the Public Sector.
The roundtable discussions and interactive workshops allowed for enriching exchanges and opportunities for collaboration with other like-minded organizations.

We are convinced that this kind of event plays an essential role in the fight for gender equality and we thank FIEF for this invitation. SAHA remains committed to collaborating with others actors to continue building a better future for girls and women in Haiti.
